Power Owner Program

Below you will find our training outline for the SMART Business Academy's "Power Owner" program. This program teaches owners how to masterfully grow their businesses into thriving enterprises..

This program consists of 12 PowerShop Modules designed to help owners better position their businesses to gain more market share and stability in the marketplace.

This is a 6-month program that student-owners attend for one 2-day weekend every month in Atlanta, Georgia.

Program runs for 12 months in select cities outside of Atlanta. Live Modules are 4 hours in length. Registration is easy.

Examining the Structure of the Business
Understanding if your business started off on the right foot is important. There are structural areas of a business’ foundation that if not done the right way that is applicable to your business, could prohibit it from reaching optimal performance. Student-owners will learn what they did right, what they did wrong and how to correct those areas.

How to Create a World-Class Operational Workflow
Many self-employed entrepreneurs find themselves overworked and frustrated. This often happens when the business owner fills too many (or all) roles in the business while not putting their customers, suppliers, outsourced contractors, etc. on a system to how to do business with them. It creates ambiguity, confusion and inefficiencies. Building a business doesn't have to be so stressful. This module teaches entrepreneurs how to best design their operations for optimism and pleasure in running their own business.

How to Build a Profitable Customer Base
There are a few things customers need to see and feel when they do business with you. If you are having trouble retaining customers, getting them to refer you to their friends or getting them to buy more products/services from you than what’s only available at your business then you are doing a few things wrong. In your mind, you may think you’re doing everything perfect, especially if you operate the same in your business as you do in your personal life. That behavior makes everything seem normal. This module will help you capitalize on areas that you can exploit and become the business your customers endear.​

The Sales Accelerator: How to Incorporate a Repeatable Sales Strategy
So many owners in the market are not sales people. They are sometimes much more creative than “business”. However, without a concrete sales plan, owners find themselves struggling to convert their target audience into buying customers. There are ways to do so without getting a PhD in Sales. We share our tested formula with our student-owners in this class where sales no longer really remain an issue.​

How to Run a Multi-Location Business
If there is one thing we strongly believe in is having more than one location of your business. It does a lot for the culture of your workplace. However, getting to this place is a vulnerable and critical experience simply because you are unable to be in the same place at the same time. Don’t stress over that though. We have found ways to combat that issue and we share and teach those ways in this module.​
