Below you will find our training outline for the SMART Business Academy's "Power M.O.V.E." program. This program teaches entrepreneurs how to masterfully make the vulnerable "power move" from employee to business owner.
This program consists of 12 PowerShops in 12 Modules, 66 Lessons, 17 Real-World Exercises (usable in your business), 7 Practical Tasks and 3 Real-World Challenges and a 6-hour Business Plan Boot Camp designed to help student-entrepreneurs gain clarity in their business and access funding (for graduates only).
This is a 6-month program that students attend for one 2-day weekend every month in Atlanta, Georgia. Schedule runs for 12 months in select cities outside of Atlanta. Live Modules are 4 hours in length. Registration is easy.

How to Become a Successful Business Owner: Understanding Business Ownership 102 What does it mean to own a business and does owning mean you should also run it? How to Properly Layout the Business' Foundation: Setting the Business Foundation 103 A weak foundation in anything will cause the structure to fall; no matter how strong the walls or ceiling may be. Who and what resources should be involved in the foundation aspects of your business? This class focuses on the elements you will need at the early stages of your business in order for it to be scalable and sustainable. How to Create a "Cult" Business: Social Responsibility 212 Beginner Did you know money isn’t the finish line in life? It's what your heart choose to do with that money. This isn’t being said in some clichéd altruistic manner either. It really isn’t. Money is a vehicle. It also isn’t emotional or obligated to anything. So what does this mean? That very emotion is what makes money harder keep than it is to get. This class teaches student-entrepreneurs how to use humanitarian efforts for the best interest of their business. Bonus Module:
How to Craft Your Business Plan: "The Business Plan Boot Camp" Graduate Session This session is for the graduates of our academy. In this session, student-entrepreneurs will be required to attend with a laptop or tablet with the existing business plan from the program loaded on it. Instructors from the program will go through each section of the plan while spot-checking each student’s input in each section to make sure everything is being done correctly. By the end of this session, each student should have a completed funding/loan-ready business plan that they can keep and update for the life of their business.
