Admissions Counselors
We are looking for two career-focused individuals to fill our Admissions Counselor positions. We are a business training institute that trains student entrepreneurs. Our Admissions Counselors will assist potential students with their enrollment process in our programs.
About Us:
We are a premiere entrepreneurial training organization that was founded in 2007. Our training programs began in 2013 locally and internationally. We host annual national conferences geared towards entrepreneurship development and business ownership. Our student population has been growing and our alumni has seen significant success in their respective entrepreneurial journeys. Our curricula are unconventional and focuses on wealth-building, business ownership and entrepreneurial start-ups, something most training organizations do not focus on. We place little emphasis on job readiness. We have a strong interest in developing minorities, urban communities and the inner city. Admissions Counselors are required to share the same passion.
Position Description:
Admissions Counselors are responsible for contacting past and future students via email and telephone using our contacts database, maintaining all communications with students via telephone or in-person visits and attending events to encourage enrollment to non-existing contacts. You will be required to maintain good records, provide weekly status updates, coordinate enrollment, and if necessary, troubleshoot any issues current students may be having with academic affairs, their student portals, etc. Monthly enrollment quota must be met to hold this position.
Ideal Candidates Will:

* Be a self-starter
* Attend staff meetings
* Have a positive attitude
* Be able to work without supervision
* Be familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point
* Have exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
* Have impeccable phone etiquette and phone productivity
* Be willing to learn and open to feedback
* Be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task
* Have reliable transportation and valid driver's license
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or 7 Years Sales Experience
Compensation: $60,000 per year
Benefits: 12 weeks’ vacation, healthcare reimbursement
